Top Drinking Water Forum?

Hi, does anyone know what the top forum out there is for drinking water? Something as good as this one for reefing? I've been trying to learn everything I can on how best to remineralize an under sink RO/DI system, and to maybe hear thoughts on others ICP-MS test results, etc, but have not been able to find a good forum like this one for these kinds of topics.

you could just use a valve before the di cannister so you can diverge the ro water before it gets to the di resin. This way you will just be drinking ro water and not rodi

Thanks! I want to use the rodi to ensure I’ve removed all contaminants as my water is quite dirty. I’m looking to understand everything there is to know about this topic in general though, which is why it’s be great to know if there is a forum out there.

Some of the reminderalization filters I’ve seen add small amounts of arsenic to the water for example - would love to find the very best remineralization method. this is one of the primary topics I’m focused on at the moment, but there are many others, like how much calcium is ideal for drinking water, how do the far infrared balls work, etc. Lots of conflicting messages on these topics, hence I’m hoping there’s a strong forum out there for them

DI material is not food grade why its often not recommended. Deionized water can cause humans to urinate more frequent and reduce electrolytes from the body and has a lower pH than typical tap water.

I appreciate the response, thanks! The resin is Nuclear grade, so I would hope it should be safe, but yes that's another thing I'm hoping to get 100% certainty on. Also I will be remineralizing it before we drink it to account for the electrolyte issue..once I find a really good remineralization filter without trace metals like arsenic and lead anyway. :)

Thanks! I prefer the rodi approach as it ensures everything is removed from the water, and I can then choose what to have added back. :)

The DI resins are not for drinking water.

What does your local water report say? "dirty" in what way? Sand and mud? Iron? Limescale? Actual toxic metals? Agricultural runoff? Chemical wasteland as your neighbor?

sometimes no filter is the best, the minerals make the water is what I always say
