Torch splitting

Noticed the tentacles or whatever it may by darkening by the center where it’s been indenting? Is it splitting ?

I don’t know about torches but my frogspawn is in the process of splitting and it’s been 2 months about. Still couldn’t frag if I wanted to but it’s getting there. Also started as 1 head and is splitting into 3 or 4.

March 27th (1 large head)

May 17th (4 smaller heads)

That’s gorgeous. I just want some input if this is a sign of splitting or I have a ticked off torch in my hands.
