I have been on the fence for a while now on gathering some 6095's for my build and wondered about undertow. Switching from vortechs get to keep similar draw of water and undertow from that was pressent with my Mp40 ecotech pumps? If not I am considering keeping one for the back wall of tank!

I ran a 6095 on my 90 gallon.. It's probably my favorite powerhead to date. You'll get similar undertow and wide flow as you would with an MP40.. They're sweet pumps and very quiet. I sold mine a few months ago and still get PM's asking me if I have it... so even if you don't like it (doubtfull) you'll probably get very close to what you paid for it.
