Ok, so im thinking of upgrading my 20 long to my spare 29 gallon i have. Lights will switch over but if i get new sand and add extra live rock will my tank not be established anymore? Im asking cause my 20 long has been up almost a year and i read that bta's need established tanks. I know the switch is only 9 gallons but i want a little more space for my clown and nem.

With the new rock if it's not already established or cured you could end up with a minicycle. I have switched tanks with no complications for my nem except for the typical movement at first.
