Urchin eating my polyps

I got an urchin last week and he is doing great. So great he is not only eating the algae of the stones but he is also eating the polyp coral thats growing on it

is there a way to stop him or should I give him away?

Is that a pinchushon urchin? Several months ago, i purchased a tuxedo urchin, i wanted a pinchushin urchin, but the store employee said they are more likely to eat coral. If its eating polyps now, i would give it away.
