I recently purchased a green killing machine uv sterilizer and set it up on my tank. I woke up the next morning and the water in my tank was a tea color. Its been color for 5 days. What the heck?? I thought it was supposed to make my water crystal clear!

Its possible the algae you had has now died off and needs to be skimmed or filtered out.
