Hi everyone!

I’m doing my research on owning a saltwater tank and wanting tips and tricks for a very new beginner. I currently purchased a 14 gallon frameless cube aquarium from work and was going to turn it into a freshwater tank since that’s what I currently own but wanted to see if that was an okay size for a newbie if I wanted to get into the saltwater world. Any information or suggestions would be extremely helpful!

Yes, that would be a good start for you to get your feet 'wet' per say in the saltwater hobby.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

A 14 gallon is a fine tank to start with. I'd suggest taking a look at the R2R Supreme Guide to keeping a reef tank linked above, and maybe check out this beginner series for more info. Please post back here with any further questions 🙂

Good luck!
