I don’t share the ugly ones, lolBubbaque you sure know how to get good color out of your Acropora.
We all have them. My ugly ones grow the best, and have handled every mistake I've done to my reef. lolI don’t share the ugly ones, lol
I wish mine would grow like this!Forgot to post this pic here too. I'll see if I can get a more detailed, closer pic next time. I got some extension tubes thanks to some advice from @bubbaque.
Under 20k
Under 10k
My nub has done nothing but encrust for the past few months. The color is getting really nice though. I have this at the top of rockwork getting 450 par from an Orphek Atlantik v4. As you can see, taking photos under 20k looks closer to their pics. Even under 10k it is a beautiful piece.
Looks nice! I am curious what type of rock that is?Finally getting some new nubs on mine. Pics under 20k then 10k for reference.

I'll have to take a picture when I get back home later this week, but it hasn't grown as much. It's starting to hit other corals on either side so I think that has something to do with it. I'm in the process of clearing out a space lower down in the tank for it where it can have more room to grow and slightly lower PAR.
Update picture!
Apparently the Confetti doesn't do well when GFO gets shut off for 2 weeks and PO4 rises above 0.3 ppm. [emoji24]
Tragic! How long did it take to get that size?
Looks awesome! Finally got a good shot with my 55mm-200mm zoom lens and a 12mm extension tube. Uploaded with a laptop too instead of tapatalk. What a difference just changing those things.
You can now see the green growing edge I couldn't ever show before and the kind of aqua coloration in the deeper portions of the colony.
Thanks! I should state this is a white light shot, top down, under ATI T5s with 2 SBREEF actinic bars.Looks awesome!
Now I need one...but first need to find one....Finally got a good shot with my 55mm-200mm zoom lens and a 12mm extension tube. Uploaded with a laptop too instead of tapatalk. What a difference just changing those things.
