Not sure what’s going on. I have a Waterbox 110. The water level in the display to high about 1/2” below the rim. The water level in the weir is right at the top of the drain. The water level in the sump is where it’s suppose to be. The water level in the return chamber is about half full, there’s a to sensor that keeps it at that level. The appears to be good flow coming out of the return nozzles. The tank has been stable and healthy for at over a year or more. I have an issue with hair algae and some cyano on the surface of the sandbed. The corals are open and vibrant and the fish are active. I have a Sicce Syncra 6.0 set at 75%. Any suggestions on what might be causing this and more importantly what I need to do to correct this, is greatly appreciated.

Pictures will help, but have you tried to reduce the return flow?

Drop the weir down lower in the tank.

Clean out the gaps in you weir teeth. Algae or scum builds up and reduces flow at that point. Scrape off any corraline and clean both sides. I use a tooth brush for this. Don't be surprised when your sump is a bit fuller now, it will balance out soon.
Good thinking that could be the problem

Sounds like your return pump is moving water faster to your tank than water is coming in to sump. Can be restriction going to sump or if shutoff present, needs to be opened slightly

I have the Waterbox 35.1 and I second cleaning out the teeth in your overflow box. Every time the overflow teeth in my tank get clogged with algae, detritus, etc, the water level in my display gets high too.
