When testing water parameters does the temperature of the sample matter? And if it does why. I am thinking about taking a sample with me to work tomorrow and testing all parameters but not sure if the water temp will matter

Calcium alk mg phosphates and nitrates lol

Titration tests like alk, calcium and magnesium, no.

Color development tests (like phosphate and nitrate) may develop color at a rate that depends a bit on temp. If the test has a very specific reading time range, then a temp well outside of normal tank and room temperatures might miss the correct window. If you are in normal temp ranges and the kit does not specify a temp, then the effect is not likely to be important.
