Hey all,

Just ordered my 110 on blue Friday. Was hoping for a deal but nonetheless pulled the trigger as the deminsions go perfect in my new house being built. Feel free to follow along on this journey.

Will post my proposed equipment I plan on buying for black Friday. Any input is appreciated.

A little about me: almost 2 years in the hobby upgrading from an innovative marine 30g.

Day 1 of working on the left side of the tank

Day 2 of working on leftside of scape

So far spent 2 hours on the scape. As a dad and working full time it has been tough to put too much time into but happy so far.

More rock coming tomorrow so I can work on the right side

Day 3 of working on the scape (spent another hour). Almost had a close call with super glue. It got clogged so I had to cutt off the end, when I did super glue flew and landed just under my eye. Wow.... Close

Today was working on a big arch

Here's a pic

Day 5 working on the scape (another hour)

Made a middle section. Don't like it too much but should fill in fine with coral. Used a lot more glue and epoxy to insure its secure. Will start cycling the tank in coming weeks

1st pic was outside set up in actual tank deminsions

2nd pic inside with scape closer together than it really will be.

Tank is now set up in the new house. It is in my office space/ entry way of the home.

I had sold my old tank and transferred the fish over the weekend. Everyone is happy and doing well.

All my corals were put into a QT tank I set up in my garage (crazy story to come on that in the next post).

I still need to build out the control board and do wire management.

I also ordered a third XR15 pro because i measured par and max at top of the rock was 170. My goal is to have sps towards top middle and right side.

I added one piece of live rock to help with bio diversity. I had cycled all my dry rock for 2 and half months before starting the tank as well.

I have the same tank how do you like the Nero’s on the back I have two on the sides and it’s great for top flow but the sand gets dirty
