We've been wanting one and here it is in all its browned out glory. After being dipped and rebased minutes after coming out of a bag, we cant really blame this little guy for losing some color. We'll use this thread to document its (hopefully not too slow) growth! Wish us luck ;)

(Feel free to post pictures of your frag's growth in this thread too!)

Any picks of the mother load?

Can’t wait to see you guys color this bad boy up!
We're excited!!

Have patience... mine still looks like that after many months, but has grown a bit. I have a bad feeling that by the time that mine is large enough to frag some, it will be a $100 coral. :)
Somehow I doubt that lol

What Params do you guys shoot for?

Good luck, I would love to get my hands on a frag someday.....

Wow I remember when these things were so popular that I think I remember the forum banning discussion of them temporarily, or maybe I'm just imagining things. I can see why... if that's what it looks like browned out, oh man

Stability more than anything :)

Hopefully, after several more years of aquaculture, it'll grow a little faster haha

I remember something along the lines of that too, not sure what it ended up being but if they had to lock it down it's because someone got nasty

It was mostly drama over how doctored the original photo was and if a coral could ever be worth the price being asked. It's a pretty coral, but it looks very little like that original and heavily manipulated photo.

Sooooo... fast grower... :D
