Ok well I got excited and didn't take any build pics. Everyone has seen it before.

Anyways, here it is finished. Standard build.

Not sure if it's right or not. I'll test for leaks tomorrow after the silicone dries.

Well here is my little sump/refugium. So far so good. I have some bowing on one of the baffles so I will put in a support at some point. Still need a filter sock because my overflow stole my fish food! Will probably get another light also. Something with a little more power.

Made the tank a little cloudy. You can see my return up top, going to paint that black. And I will move my heater down soon.

Question, I'm concerned about a flood, can I plug my return pump into some sort of cut off for when the water gets to high it will shut off?

No, I shut the strip off and it was good. I'm just afraid if the over flow gets plugged up. I don't have the return side that deep though.

The only thing I don't really like is the sound of the overflow. Why does it make a sound like it's draining?

Man this sump tore up my system. Lost all 3 chromis the next day, which is okay, but wasnt happy. Not sure if it was the caulk I used or what. Caused a whole new cycle. It was 100% silicone, figured it would be okay, but had that mold stuff so I think I poisoned everything.

Xenias are not fully expanding, my Kenya tree shrivles up and doesn't get as big as it did. Only about half the length now, but starting to look better. The xenias weren't opening at all for about a week, then the newer ones started popping out, now finally some of the bigger ones, but not fully. The Zoas and Green Stars look great though. Green Stars are even showing new growth. My acans are looking a little sad, but puff up from time to time. And my clowns and goby are survivors.

Live and learn I guess. I think I'm finally getting my phosphates and silicates under control, running new carbon and gfo at everybwater change till it all looks normal again. Still and reading higher ammonia than I would like. Went and got 10 gallons of RO water from Wal-Mart yesterday and did a 5 gallon water change. Am going to do another one this weekend I think. Depends on how high the ammonia gets. Tank is a little cloudy, but that's probably from the hair algae dying, at least from what I read anyway.

Some new pics. You may notice a new valentini puffer. The girl friend just had to have it. Has a taste for my acan, being on PTO I see his shinanigans, so I put a little tube around the acans, so far so good. He might go back to the store though.

If you scroll back you can see how big this Kenya tree was. The polyps open up though so I think it will pull through.

Xenias, you can see they are partially open.

New growth at the bottom and on the left of my green stars.

Protection for the sad acans. Tip is open, but the puffer doesn't seem to know that yet. He came to investigate a couple times, but then swam off.

Pompom chillin with the zoas.

The puffer has a taste for my snails also, but they are pretty cheap so I'm not to concerned. He leaves the fish alone, just seems to like my acans and snails. My smaller hermits have disappeared also, assuming they are in his belly. Not worried about them either though.

Also just noticed more Zoa growth in the middle. Just looked at my old pic.

Got about 4 or 5 more polyps. Crazy how some can get sick and die while the others seem to be thriving.

Got a "poop" ID question haha.

Something is producing this huge stuff. Not sure what, I've seen it 3 times now. Looks like a peanut sort of. Any ideas who is making these huge turds? At least that's what I think it is. The biggest fish I have is an engineer goby, he's about 4inches long or so, I can't see him producing this, but he's the biggest thing I have.

The brown blob towards the back of my little acan house.
