been like this for about 2 months and only this one all other are doing great anybody?

man i have never seen that before...it does look like bubbling at the tips...maybe an acro disease?
someone will chime in soon, that can help.

yeah thats the oddest thing i seen happen to an acro...i posted somethin very similar to this a while back about my chalice frag and even another well established rose garden colony is starting to bubble up as well, but i never seen an acro do that before. i hope it turns out to be nothing serious!! good luck homie

yeah maybe you should trim off all those bubble stuff and toss. pretty safe to say it's not supposed to look like that....

sorry this is going to be so vague, as I can't pull up the article. There's a predatory crab that lives in sps's, that'll irritate the coral into growing a casing around the crab. And while I don't have the photo's for reference, it does look really simmilar to what you have going on if my memory serves. Not saying this is it, but it's the only thing that pops to mind seeing that.

Its a "Gall Crab" makes its home inside of SPS corals and they tend to ball up around it. You may try and cut off 1 of the bigger tips then cut it open and see whats inside. It will be hollowed out with the crab living inside!!
"I got this info from Anthony Califos' book Coral.
Hope this helps
Dave
