What is this?

I have seen these little things popping up in my tank. What are they? Should I be worried?

I'd say +1 for flatworms.

Some are worrisome, especially if you've got SPS corals or clams, others are a minor annoyance at worst. I used to have a bunch of those, but my wrasse and target mandarin gratefully accepted such tasty treats!

Thanks. I wonder where they came from. I just purchased a few snails and a starfish this weekend. Maybe they were on the snails.

Liverock, corals, snails . . . even the sea-star.

These guys can ride on just about anything.
