Got this fine chalice for cheapo dollars. What kind of worm is this. Hard shelled with soft mouth. Peanut worm?
I'm guessing it's not a predatory worm and more of a filter feeder, if it's a worm at all. Thanks friends.

Looks like a solitary tunicate species to me too.

Edit: to add, tunicates are harmless filter feeders.

Is that a chalice or encrusting Monti?
