Started my first reef 25 years ago. It was a 55 gallon reef/anenome tank that thrived for years despite moving twice. Metal halide, skimmer only and crushed coral substrate. Broke that and two smaller tanks down when I moved again, out west, for a few years. Currently in the planning stage of a slow, patient return to reefkeeping.

I had a freshwater planted tank most recently that sprung a leak in the leaving room in the middle of the night and had to be tore down. Considered it a sign to return to marine.
