I use to do RC airplanes back in the 90's. My strongest was a super skybolt with a 1.5 2 1/4 hp and a 16 inch prop. man you had to throttle down in a dive! here my current other hobby.

I have four kids ages 3 to 10, so my time outside of this hobby (and work) is comprised of time with them. Particularly, I am cub scout leader and sports coach and I make time with my kids for their hobbies and interests.

My other hobby, often on hold more than active, is home automation. All the recent advancements in the IoT and completely changed this industry and I am at a point of decided whether I want to start over and embrace the newer technologies or continue on with the system I have built out so far.

Yessir. That's some USA made Damascus made from 3+ different types of steel forge welded together. After I shape a blade from it it is dipped in acid. The acid eats away at the different types of steel at a different rate, thus showing the pattern. And thank you for the compliment!
