When can I add frogspawn?

A about 1 or 2 months ago I was at my local fish store, and the guy working there said to wait a while before adding frogspawn. I’m not sure why. This was when my tank was about 1 and a half months old. When can I add frogspawn?

I like to start coral after the ugly stage....parameters tend to be a little more stabler

Im surprised he told you that actually. You could probably get away with adding it now if you are keeping the tank stable.

Most recommend waiting awhile so the tank can work out its own kinks

I moved our Frogspawn and Duncan colonies from our old tank to our new tank 2 weeks in and they immediately continued to grow at borderline nuisance levels...
