when to get new lights

I have had my DYI LEDs for about 5.5 years. I am wonder when do you think its time to get new LEDs, so fair the PAR readings are still close to the same as they have always been. I have been getting some red slime algae and I am not sure if its related to the age of the LEDs

Thoughts?
