The picture make it looks like its rotting, but i dont think it is, the color is just turning white, i can still see the markings of the clam on that spot

That part of mantle has been bleached. Clams can lose their symbiotic zooxanthellae and turn white just as coral does. I will double check your temperature and make sure the clam is not placed under inappropriate lighting conditions

Is there anything i can do to help him heal? I heard the clam got bleached from too much light, which i doubt this is the case since its approximatwly 26inches away from an AI prime light

More likely it is caused by fluctuations of parameters or even insufficient light. As long as the clam is opening wide and the bleach doesn’t spread it should be fine. I will suggest keeping an close eye on kh and ph and maybe running some activated carbon

Something damage the mantle, resulting in scars. I have seen this happened before. I think cases like this, the zooxanthellae likely not recover in that area. IMO, the structures, the tubules the zooxanthellae live in were damage and it will forever remain white in that area.

The only bleaching I have seen in clams is from lack of light, if light is too intense they generally just close up. I would just keep it in stable conditions with decent lighting ~200 par.
