I wanna hear from people who have Bubble tip anemone's under led's only. Have any morphed colors? What led fixture are you using? Do you think they can be kept under led's successfully? Thanks for all your help.

My Rbta is under a DIY with 3 watt Crees and loving life for sure! I has gone from the size of a silver dollar to about the size of an open hand in 4 months. Hasn't changed colors but very hot pink under the spectrum!

I have 3 in my 75. All under Radions. Running only 50% but all are doing well, colors are great, and appear to be growing well..

I had rbta, rainbow bta, and neon green bta that morphed colors under LEDs. I used Orphek fixture and a JBJ LED nanocube. I switched back to T5s

Nobody has had them bleach or go transparent on them? I've seen alot of the transparent btas under LEDs which to me it means they are bleached/bleaching. . .

I have a rbta and a mag under SOL Blues @100%. The rose is very bright red and has not morphed color and it's been close to 6 months under this LED. The mag is morphing and getting neon green tenticles.

I have several RBTA which keep on splitting, two magnifica, one red and one green carpet under DIY LEDs.

They all have been growing great and the coulor is much better than under MH.

Yeah my bta went from 1 to 4 in like 3 months under diy leds.... color has held or increased, but I wouldn't say morphed.

+1

The colour was about the same as under the MH Radiums except for a few pigments that came out, just a little more pop or brightness.

Here's by GBTA under my kessil 15k in a nanocube 12. It's grown since then and is definitely retaining the amazing colors.

In my solana with a radion I had a 6" rbta I bought in jan12. Since then there is 3 rbta and each is. 8" now. Monsters and I don't feed them at all. They grow to fast. They grow just as great under the radion as they did in my jbj 24 g hqi nano.

I have AI SOLS Super Blue. My Green BTA has nine lives. In the process of changing out my old tank to new, he came up missing. Turns out he was in the hard line under the tank. In blowing him out, he got stuck in the crate! Had to litterally peel him out, I was just sure he was a goner! Placed him in the new tank anyway and in 4 or 5 months, he has almost trippled in size and he is so green he almost sparkles.

I have DIY LED lights, and my RBTA has split twice (now have 3) and is growing like mad. The color isn't that deep red that I see from other's pics, more of an orange, but it seems very healthy. Maybe the color is due to something I'm not doing correctly instead of the lighting. :ooh:

You'd probably be better off asking this in your own (separate) thread.

CJ

Sorry.

I am only curious as arguing about spectrums and adding multiple colors of LEDs instead of going RB/White. My question is directly related to the subject of Anemones, coloring and look. I didn't elaborate earlier due to sending that from my iPad.

AI Sols and Radions, their specs are fixed. However DIY fixtures... there are almost no two alike. Which is why there is so much varied results. I am just starting a 120 with 220w of LEDs (RB/W) but I am debating on adding either a strip of dimmable colors, R/G/V/TV/WW, etc... or (2) T5s KZ Fiji Purple + something else depending on what colors I am missing. This thread is a great comparison of that with the different shades and reactions of anemones.
