Why oh why !

been battleing the dreaded ICH for the past few weeks...ive delt with ICH before and have had great success keeping the fish..

Almost bring tears to my eyes to tell you guys i lost my black tang last night..

Funny how you can get so attached to a "silly" fish...Not like i can run out and get another one, there so hard to find..doubt i really ever will get another one

Im a grown man, and typing this brought tears to my eyes...I dont have any other pets anymore, so my fish and corals are my pets. I hardly watch TV at nights, id rather look at fish or play in the tank.(so relaxing and peaceful).So its really a bummer to lose something so close to your heart..

There is nothing wrong with crying. You loved your fish and she passed on. It's a terrible loss and i'm extremly sorry for you and black betty.

Ever since me and my wife lost our son ..I seem to feel and get saddened for situations that i never would have. Reading your post dang near made me cry as well. Losing something loved is always hard but we find ways to make it some how.

Just keep your head up.

see so it wasn't just a fish it was a friend and your corals are also ..when I had ich it took my tangs all of them then a year later i started over with the sps and I really loved my purple millepora and aefw wiped all my colonies out and i felt like you saddened and asked why am i upset it was just a coral ..but was it really no it was my pet i grew it and watched it grow just like my kids i took care of them and when I lost them it saddened me so i totally understand and feel for you . take care as it will take alot of time to get over .
