Hi, I’m starting a new 93g tank, and not necessarily wanting to hang the used light. Would this work instead (hoping for a budget light):

Saltwater Aquarium Light,Smart Reef Coral Light,App with Bluetooth + WiFi Dual Control,DIY Spectrum and Brightness for Saltwater Fish and Reef Tanks, with Real Time Water Temperature Sensor (30-36 IN) Amazon product ASIN B0CM39WNKN
Thanks!

Buy once cry once. Light is a key element of a successful reef tank with coral. If you are going fish only tank you are fine with a cheap light.

So far very happy. Soft corals seem to be doing well. Will be adding some stony corals this week. I have a connected system with SPS growing well, so will be able to compare growth with only variable being this light compared to RS 50.

Nicrew is a good low-budget option, 2 x 150 watts should work for that tank.
