Hey everyone!
This is my first post here! Gonna post some progress on my 10g SPS dominant reef tank. Been up and running for a few months now.
Instagram: @wisdom.reefer

Standard 10g - Bahamas Oolite Sand
Light - Coral Box Moon LED Plus
Flow - 150gph HOB, 425gph & 240gph Hydor Korlias
HOB has chemi-pure blue and chaeto(with light on 24/7)

(I spot feed mandarin mysis and cyclops, which she(i think) was already eating when I got her. Also have a culture of copepods separately I use to keep population up)
CUC - 6+ nassarius snails, one turbo snail, 2 astrea snails. 2 blue leg and 2 scarlet reef hermits. Lots of micro brittle stars
Will post corals as I get to them. Thanks for checkin it out!

Thank you! That it is XD
Got some deals for a few at a time that I just couldn't give up.. you know how it is :p
Got a bigger frag rack coming so I can cut the sps off the plugs and glue them to the rock, then let the bit left on the frag regrow on the rack.

Just cut this guy up last week or so and its awesome to see it heal so fast! Even the tiny branches in the back have already encrusted into eachother!

Thank you! Doing a little timelapse of it today.. hopefully it comes out ok! ;Droid

Had it for about 6 months now. Started in my Fluval Evo V(pictured here. now just a softie tank more or less)! The xmas worms have definitely grown too! I wish I could get them to grow into other porites o_O i feel like xmas tree worms in a darth maul porietes rock would be ridiculous haha

Most of the time you can pop the frag off of the plug, super glue is strong at holding the frag but a little pressure will usually make it let go of the plug :)

Unless they are encrusted already, in which case you can do what you wanted to do :D

I have the exact 2 powerheads and a HOB filter on my 20g high reef....do you get good movement in the tank having them on the back wall blasting the front glass like you do?

I think it works nicely and the HOB really helps to give a base flow, then the powerheads just stir things up ontop of that. I can always see with the fuzzies how it is in the middle, definitely getting variable flow there :)
