Worm inside coral

I noticed there was a worm or something in my digi. Is this harmless or do I need to get rid of it? It is on the right side nub, you will see it pulling stuff in.

looks like a barnacle. In my book thats a score. It likely wont last long though.
it wont hurt it but youll have a barnacle in your coral.:)

Wow, I never seen a barnacle eat before. After you said it could be a barnacle I looked up a video of them eating and it does look the same. Thanks for the help!

Agreed. I have had them come in on multiple Acropora, nothing but cool for me.

I know a lot of people have had success or no problems with having barnacles in their corals
But I have only had issues with them present
They took out a few heads of my lps they only got bigger and bigger I eventually just glued them shut and solved my problems.
I heard they did nothing wrong as well but they didn't work for me lol
