My tank is 125 gallons. I currently have a 3.5 inch exquisite fairy wrasse and 2.5 inch longfin fairy wrasse. The exquisite is larger and exerts its dominance. My question is if I want to add a mystery wrasse, would it work long term? If not, is there another nice looking pink wrasse you could think of? Thanks in advance.

Any wrasse in that genus (pseudocheilinus) typically becomes a one wrasse tank.

As for a pink wrasse that would coexist, member evolved has a cool diagram that shows compatibility amongst fairy wrasses based on relatedness. Assuming you don't want another fairy, the first one that comes to mind would be a cryptic wrasse, but I am inclined to say the tank is almost too big for one.

Thanks for the replies. I keep reading how aggressive mystery wrasses are. But I didn't know if the fact that it would be the last fish added would make any difference.

It wouldn't lol, think of it as a big sixline.

Mystery Wrasses can be good community fish or they can be holy terrors. As they get bigger, they will exert more dominance over the other fish. I had one that was the last fish in my tank and in 2 mths chewed the fins off of 2 of my flashers. A Pink Marginal wrasse is pretty but they too can become aggressive. A Flame wrasse is a nice addition too.
