SCIENTIFIC NAME - Canthigaster jactator

COMMON NAME - Whitespot Toby (Hawaiian Whitespotted Toby)

SIZE - 3.5" (9 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 20 US Gal. ( 76L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied marine meaty diet, chopped shrimp, squid, clams, enriched krill, fish, marine preparations for herbivores, feed at least 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Not recommended, will eat a wide range of invertebrates.

CAPTIVE CARE - Also known as Sharpnose Puffers, has same behaviors as the larger puffers. Notorious nipper, more pronounced in smaller tanks, keep only one unless a male / female pair can be obtained or the tank is large, may need to be wormed and the teeth may need to be clipped. Hard shelled invertebrates can help wear the teeth down.
