I picked up this old Oceanic 125g for $75. It needed some tlc but I enjoy diy projects. Here are the pictures of when I first got it, through refinishing the stand. I'm rather pleased with the results. Next step is resealing the tank. Bit nervous about that bit as I've never done one before, but I've watched several YouTube videos on the subject...wish me luck. Lol.

Update... Had a minor bout of small cell amphidinium, but was able to knock them out within a week. Over the last week, the remainder of the new tank uglies have cleared. Very happy with how it's coming together.

update on my 125 gallon build. Still using 3 Viparspectra 165w black boxes and 2 Fluval 406 canisters. It's been slow but it's looking better. I'm impatient to fill it with corals but I don't want to rush like I did on my last tank and have it crash.
