so I have this 29 gallon bio cube laying around that I want to setup and make a SPS dominated tank. This is what I have for equipment for it but want to know what else I need to get.
29 gallon biocube
Maxspect RazorR420 120w
Sand
Live Rock

Now should what else will I need to get. Want to go as cheap as possible but I'm not afraid to spend the money. I'm going to set it up and start cycling it this week.

You should think about adding a powerhead of some sort to add more flow. Koralia makes some cost effective pumps you may want to look at.

That's what I was wondering about. I didn't know if I needed to use one or just upgrade the return pump.

As much flow as possible without stirring up the sand. In my 29 gal standard I have 2 wp-10s, a Tunze 6040 and an ac70.

Well I don't know if you've ever been on a reef before but it's a lot rougher than we think. I taught diving for a few years in south Florida and the currents move fast and erratic with a back and forth movement. If I didn't have some LPS I'd have more flow.
