Going to be documenting the progression of my 360 gallon SPS lagoon tank. I've wanted this style tank for a long time now as I've always enjoyed the top down viewing. Tank dimensions are roughly 7'x4'x15" about 400 gallons total with the sump/fuge. The goal for this tank is to keep shallow water tabling species; A. Millepora, A. Spathulata, A. Humilis etc.. System has been running for about 7 months and recently added all the live stock from my previous 150.

Tank is currently lit by 4 xr30 Radions 1 250w MH and an 8x80w ATI. For flow I'm running 4x MP40s and L2 return.

Here's a few pics to start it off

I am wondering how thick the plastic walls are as you are using MP40s
I built the tank out of fiberglass. It's not super thick, which is why you see those screws around the lip of the tank. I ran a piece of Ipe down the sides of the tank under the lip for support. It was still thick enough to make mounting the MPs a challenge. I had to zip tie the dry sides in place to get them to stay on. After a few weeks I think the heat from the pumps help adhere them to the gel coating

Riding a fine line here with low nutrients. This is the extreme low end of what acropora can handle, and where many would start to panic. These corals have been in the system going on 3 weeks now and believe it or not color is better now than a week ago. I’d suspect running very basic natural methods has been the major factor in not having widespread TN across most of my corals. Along with running only my T5s and MH at this time which have been more forgiving in past experiences.

Here’s some corals that I will document the recovery process of as I get nutrients up to a suitable number.
