I bought a set of flashlights years ago that had a range of nm,the 9ne that really makes my corals pop is the 420nm,I run t5s and reefbrite straps but they don't come close to the look at 420.Isthere a way to get a spread of 420nm lighting ,just to admire the corals at night.

Yes, there are custom bars one can buy at Alibaba.
If you want a diy project you could start with 12 420 Viosys 3w LEDs for$50.
Add a $7 ldd, 48v 100 watt ($18) power supply, heatsink plaster, wire and a hunk of aluminum.
Costs about $100 for effectively 30 watts or so.
16.8 total watts of radiant power.
Probably beat any commercial unit one could buy

DIY is a good choice, may be just as expensive,BUT if you are wanting to hit a certain specturm differently than all the big light bar companies its the best way.

I just finished mine. 2 channels,ldd's(700mah),storm controller,24" heatsink. Ranges from 385nm-450,super heavy in the 385nm-430nm range. One channel is all violets on 1 channel and all the royal blues on another.
