This ought to be good, these tanks look nice in person!

Question: Why did you run the return outside, isn't there a spot for it inside the overflow section?

Good question I decided to make the second pipe the emergency Drain. I seen someone did this on youtube, so It hit me and I added my return to the outside . I didnt feel up to drilling another spot in that tight corner or anywhere else

Good idea, I’ve always like the idea of an emergency drain. I can’t wait to see this filled up! Good luck!

Update found a glass lid to prevent future jumpers and slow evaporation. Local fish store actually had the lid made for the tank. I put it somewhat sideways to fit my return line that comes over the back. Water soon maybe two weeks

Im such a sucker for cubes, love how you can create a sense of depth. Have a 40G Nuvo currently keeping my eye out for maybe a 60G Cube for my next build

I was going to Get the nuvo ext 40 and matching stand to replace my 24 gallon aquatop. Looks light the red sea 250 might be a cheaper combo.

A little update on this tank a few cyano outbreaks I think from a LFS and me not being careful but its going . Started somewhat clean build and have got a few items out of control. Added Auto water change worked solid at first but giving me some trouble as of late. A few pictures on how things look . Maybe a more in detail view to come I did wipe the glass as I tend to not do so much much I like to see the snails crawl around but the video would not look so well. Tried to grow cheato to no success . Going to try once more as I don't care to use GFO if I can help it. 20200127_063150.jpg 20200127_063156.jpg 20200127_063205.jpg 20200127_063214.jpg
