sold my 72bow and 150. never had the chance to switch over from 72 to 150. i ended up moving.
my wife didnt want a tank in the new apartment. so..... she kinda said if i sold the 72 and 150 i could get the new tank. lucky me i sold them quick.
took me over a month to get this deep blue 80edge. they kept selling out. jay's aquarium in salem nh hooked me up on the tank and stand. i told him my budget. yall know wife said sell tanks and get a new one right. yeah so he workd with me on my budget and i got this beautiful tank.

i had a huge aptasia issue last time, i ended up baking the rocks outside. aptasia just sux. i pulled out 2 baby aptasia already, they were transparent in color. i hope i dont have another outbreak, cause me to break down the 72 in the first place. if i do i think ill use 2 adult berghias this time. joe's juice and aptasia x didnt work for me.

Nice looking tank  I have read for aptasia that people have used expoxy to seal them into their hole to keep them from spreading.

You might get away with softies, but these fixtures are really weak. You need at least 48 3 watt LEDs, so 54 1 watts won't cut it. There are plenty of no names out there that use 3 watt LEDs

anemonekeeper i saw ure posting for the light diff. thread

These look good, cheap too. 2 should do your tank, I have no experience with these, but 55 3 watt LEDs looks pretty good. 120 Watt DIMMABLE coral reef LED fixture 120w white blue grow light | eBay

kinda got this info a little too late. after i seen the post i seen 3 watt led diy kits on the net. could have bought 2 fixtures for 150.
maybe i might try to put beamswork on craigs
