AB’s WB 70.2 Cube Build

Upgrading waterbox 20 cube to WB 70.2 got a lot of coral to move and some additional rock for the new build.

New tank is up starting from start to get ready for the transfer. Going to let it run for a few weeks while I Plan out addition of new rock to existing rock from cube 20. Added ocean direct sand waiting for it to clear up.

Tank cycled and the transfer and addition of new rock has been made. Going to start to think about additional fish to add to Mocha Storm Pair

Been a while since I updated.

Added the Bristletooth Tang & Melanurus Wrasse. Wrasse took almost a week to come out after adding to the tank.

Got these two from @TCK Corals auction a few weeks back. Have been dipped, acclimated and doing well.

How's things going with the tank?

Been a while since I posted an update. A busy holiday and first few weeks of the year. Overall tank is doing well. Had a battle with hair Alvar which I have been comparing with a replenished cleanup crew. They have been slowly chopping away and as it becomes manages going to donate some of the crew to my brothers new build.

Right now dealing with a bit of aptasia issue the Nudibranchs are starting to handle that as well, a long way to go there. I always say nothing good happens fast, especially in the case of reefing.

Otherwise the Coral are doing well things are growing and haven’t lost anything (knock on wood) yet.

It’s been a while since my last update, and honestly, it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. I’ve been dealing with some ongoing issues—algae, aptasia, and just staying consistent with everything. It’s been a constant balancing act, but things have been generally stable over the last 6-8 months.

The corals and fish are doing well, though I did lose a few corals along the way. It’s been a learning experience, but I’m finding a better rhythm now. Still working through some of the same challenges, but overall, things are moving in the right direction.

Finally got around to getting tank back on track after a busy summer and some neglect. Have a boom of mushrooms growing around tank trying to thin them out.

Been doing some fragging and reorganizing for the next iterations of the tank. Really want to try some more Stony corals and lean away from softies.

Skimmer: eShopps (no longer on system
Doser: Jebao WiFi (Dosing All-for Reef)
Filtration: Red Sea Nano Mat

Basic Maintenance: ~8 Gallon water change every 2 weeks.

Also planning to upgrade the return nozzles to dual RFG on each side to increase variance of flow.

Also just ordered @Top_Lids luxury lid.

Going to rescape some of the tank to get a little higher with rock from sump. Planning to drag some more and move large toadstool off rock and more mushroom removal to smaller system.

Took a few shots of coral tonight just because.
