Hey, awesome corals! Just curious, do you measure your parents? If so what is the range of your par?

I have 3 layer
top 300 to 350
Middle 230 to 300
Bottom 175 to 230
Most of my Coral is in the middle range only the stag is top.

Awesome! That's actually lower than I thought at the top. Thanks for the info.

Well I'm going to share 1 of my secrets to color up Sps. For light schedule I have read and research and talk to some legit reefer aka Jason Fox. With his advice and others I come up with a 444 light schedule and this works for all type of light.
First 4 hrs of blue light , and 4 hrs of full spectrum white/blue and the end 4hrs of blue with the total of 12hrs per day. The intensity is full which mean 100%. Since I try this format my Sps color up much faster.
I want to do the 444 but cant figure out how program my ecotech xr30 gen3 to that via ecosmart live???? can you help?

took the lighting down to 50% on all channels..
Write down a log how the Coral reaction is. Don't change light setting too often it's very stressful to the Coral to adjust. If you change leave it minimum 3 months to see any effect on corals it doesn't happen in a week or even month.
