AC JR manual lighting on?

I just set up my DC -8 on my AC JR and I am wondering if there is a manual on feature so you can turn all lighting on before the set time? I sometimes do this when I have guests coming over to look at the tank and I can't figure out if I can do it or not now?

Yes you can.

Hit the middle button, then go down to manual control, then go to whatever channel you need to turn on. Hit select and then up or down to "ON".

I can't get them to turn on, could I have my settings wrong on the DC 8 itself with the 4 little switches? I have them all up and I just have 3 different lights plugged into the back left 3 plugs.

Here is a link to the manual. Check it out and make sure you have them set correctly. I don't recall of the top of my head where I have mine set.

Ahh I'm a big dummy, I forgot to plug in the phone cable... 2 of the 3 are working correctly now but the third one isn't and I think it is one of my settings is off so I'll have to recheck them.

Don't forget to plug the phone cord in...... LOL

I did the same thing with my DC4 - got it screwed down, plugged everything in, uploaded the new program to it, and BAM - nothing..... took me two hours to realize I didn't have the phone cord plugged in.

LOL well I got two separate pieces of hardware on the same day in the mail, I opened them both up and put the pieces on my desk.... That was a week ago. For some reason I was thinking the cord was for the other item...

Right now I am having some troubles with it, I added a 3rd light setting and it isn't working at all. I have my 2x LED Stunner Strips come on at 3:30pm and turn off at 12:30am, My 2x T5 blue tubes come on at 4:30pm and turn off at 11:30pm, then I added a control setting for my 4x T5 daylight tubes to come on at 5:30pm and turn off at 10:30pm. For some reason in the auto setting my 4x T5 tubes work correctly, turn on at 5:30pm and off at 10:30pm but then at about 12:05am they turn back on and I don't know why? I see no settings that say they should be on and they will stay on for good unless I manually turn them off. Any suggestions?
