You can do the same if you have an Actinic bulbs in your fixture and can run them by themselves. Just grab an orange filter and snap away!

+1 all of mine are with t5ho only. I use orange safety glasses from the hardware store.

Thanks! yeah it didn't look like that when I first got it. It was kind of an ugly brick red color with brown polyps then I lost almost everything due to a tank crash but it was one of the few things that stayed alive And as a grew it started color up on me. Not sure on the par I'd guess around 230 par mabe. the lights are bloomspect black boxes they are the same as the viparspectra I have 2 over my display which isn't enough but it's worked for the past year-and-a-half
