I have about 50 pounds of BRS dry reef saver rock in my basement. I was thinking of putting several chunks in the return and middle section of my sump to cure and possibly add to the display some day. I have no light in my sump. Any downsides to this?

I've done it several times in the past. As long as the rock is clean, there shouldn't be a issue.
