How many of you keep Galaxea in your nano? I have a frag coming today to put in my 28 gallon with 20 or so other frags. Is it a bad idea or is it possible to give it enough room and or controll the sweepers with flow?

Bad idea in a nano in my experience.

my Galaxea had 9” sweepers on a bad day. Moved it to my 75 gallon to give it room and it still tried to kill everyone.

I have mine in a 20 gallon directly next to an Acan and not far from a Blasto . They have been together for about 6 months. No conflict so far but it is better to not risk it and try to find an isolated area in the tank to house the Galaxea.

You could try and play around with your powerheads to create flow or wave patterns (Pulse mode) to keep the sweepers retracted. Or maybe ramp up the flowrate as I notice my Galaxea’s dont send out as many when the flow is high.
