Oh gosh, no worries there! Will be spoiled rotten!

This made me laugh! I spent this evening preparing his new home. I caught my mated pair of Banggai Cardinals and moved them into the frag tank so the Valentini would have some friends to play with. Lol.

Back from the sea!
I took a beating. Forecast was 2-3’ seas and ended up being up to 6’.
Harsh currents, cloudy skies (less visibility) and on the first day almost lost my weight belt and had to straddle the down line to wrangle it back on, resulting in a major rope burn on my legs.
BUT overall, great trip. The flower gardens were definitely teeming with life. Corals looking like they are booming! Saw a couple sting rays, and a loggerhead on the night dive. Out of 12 possible dives I only did 7 because I was just worn out or not confident in my diving ability in extra strong current.
Not the best trip I’ve taken, but can’t say it was a bad one when I got to be in my happy place!

Sounds like it was a good trip over all. got to be some good in any dive trip!

Read through he rest of the thread and you've been busy.. fish in, fish out.. coral galore! Looks great.
Stay safe at school. My son goes back in a few weeks as well and seems every day they add or change something about the process.

As of right now my three classes are online. I’m only on campus to be in my research lab.
I really want theuniversity to make it mandatory for only PhD and grad students to be allowed on campus. We get paid to work so let us. Make the undergrads do online.
The thought of 80y/o professors being subjected to the virus because the university wants their admission rates high, just makes me livid.

Hi all!

Fairy wrasse is acting weird today. Found him in the front corner on the sand this morning. Though he just wasnt ready to wake up yet, but when I approached the tank he got up and swam away. As he was swimming away he was twitching.

Maybe jumping to conclusion but I am worried about flukes.
I tried catching him, but he disappeared behind the rockwork. So I will have to try later when he comes back out.
In the meantime, will dosing food with selcon and metroplex be okay to help with some nutrients?? Maybe I can lure him out and the net him up.

Gonna go the safe route and pick up some Prazi from the LFS today and start. Just in case. I love this fairy and dont want to lose another fish.

Questions on using prazi in DT-- will this affect the inverts???
