The pumps are made to pump off of a Positive Pressure, if the pressure falls to a negative, the pump will burn out. It takes a long time to fill and clog a strainer.

The RO Buddie says to put it after the sediment and carbon blocks. Since I’m on very gritty well, I’m running a 20 micron, 10 micron, 1 micron, then carbon, then the booster, then my RO membrane and di canister.
