I had one over my tank. Sps really enjoyed it and it gave the tank a really good look with the shimmer and color blending:)

I am not much of a Kessil lover for SPS, so definitely take this for what it is worth, but nearly everybody that uses them with acropora ends up putting T5s with them to get more output and better coverage. Keep an eye out for this trend and I would strongly suggest that you plan for it. If you were not wanting to use T5s, there are other types of lights where people do not use T5s as often.

What would you suggest?

There’s only a 40 dollar difference between the ap700 and the xr30’s. Your better off going with the radions

If you have a 6 foot tank, you are going to need three of either of those. My guess is that somebody said that the ap700 could span 3 feet, which is only true when lighting lower-light stuff - ap700 is not going to cover 3 feet for a SPS tank. Two xr30s won't get the job done either on a 6 foot tank.

I am not a huge fan of pucks and like the panels better. Photon v2 for a cheaper option or a Orphek Atlantik v4 if you have more cash.
