The price tag also reflects it and worth it. Did you ask ARC to use there pix? If not thats not cool.

I'm not using the pictures to sell anything, in fact I am pretty much advertising free for them, so I don't see them having a problem with it.

He's is not claiming it as his work nor attempting to cover up their watermark and gave credit to them.

Whats the prob?

The fact that they grow SO SLOW and the fact that they are so overpriced.

Beautiful chalice I agree.

As for using the ARC photo who cares it not like he removed the watermark, tried passing off as his own, or did not say that it was ARC. If ARC has an issue with it I am sure they canhave him executed at dawn for copyright violations, but I am guessing in this circumstance they not gonna mind someone promoting their chalice/site.....

I think its an amazing piece. An a great story behind it... that it was hand collected by an enthusiast. Not mass imported and chopped. I have never seen it in person tho. I'm sure its just as nice.

I have this piece and i can tell you it just as amazing in person when you see it. It really tricking to get it to color up but once it does you will be happy you brought it.

Meh not that impressed, maybe I'm alone in this, would love to see a daylight shot, don't like seeing what I see in the top right hand corner of the second pic.

Here is a example zero Photoshop I swear!!!! And I know my white balance is way off but the actual shot of the shroom represents it very well and that is how it looks in my tank...

having things out of focus in the pic is normal. The pink blob in the upper right corner of the second pic indicates someone has been playing with the settings.

I am not accusing and im sure that the poster above is not either, due to we are all friends here, but from a teq point of view that would be something that would happen when you move the saturation bar. What you see troylee is most likly diffrent or CAN HAPPEN in some cases, but thats over saturation spots/ color bleeding both come from saturating a picture to much.

Well first and foremost I don't know why we or you or anyone could accuse anyone of using Photoshop I mean let's face it 90 percent of the people do I prolly would if I could figure out how To use the stupid program lol.... I mean let's face it Photoshop is here to stay the big thing is using it responsible IMHO. Now like I showed with my pic that is straight from the camera to photobucket to you guys and it has the same thing lol.... I'm trying to figure this out for my own good I mean who likes getting burned??? I just for the most part say if it looks to good to be true it is!!!!!

Your pic doesn't have any of the pink saturation blobs that I can see.

imo correcting white balance is ok but increasing the saturation is cheating.

Got cha... Personally my point of view looking at that chalice I believe is a darn good representing shot
Of it... It might have a touch of saturation added IMHO but for the most part it
Is believable to me and I would love to add it to my collection... I mean take the trops acid trip chalice I saw the welding shield picture and thought ya right!!!!! That is super fake!!! I came across a frag awhile back it was just
Purple I was like uhh huh I knew it!!!! After having It for 6 months the colors are coming in and wow the Pink is the most intense I have ever saw on any coral much less a chalice....:
