Best dosing pump for Triton

I have a Vertex Libra. Some channels don't work some of the time. The Ice Cap dosing pump I have works great.

This is my triton setup. Neptune systems DOS with 5L containers. I'm mixing up 1/2 of the elementz a time. So far they've been very accurate, I've been watching to be sure the level is the same in the containers. The DOS isn't super quiet, mines in the basement below the tank, I wouldn't use them up with the tank.

So I could build a pump for you, super quiet, super accurate but setting up the control aspect can be a bit tedious and you do need a bit of code reading experience.

I bought 9 liter jugs and mixed up the elementz completely. I just fill my jugs as need be.

May I make a suggestion about dosing equipment and relative cost.
I have been using the Plum XL pumps for quite a while now. They are cheap and will allow you to control the dose down to .1 Ml an hour 24 hours a day.
Just as an idea of cost I just picked up a quad unit shipped to me for $45
I have been in this for over 10 years and this method is by far the cheapest and most accurate way to dose a tank.

@twilliard, can you post a link to those pumps? I googled it but only came up with hospital infusion pumps.

Hi sorry I should have clarified that. It is the Hospira infusion pumps. Also I used the wrong word in my post. I have a tri pump.
here is a picture of my triton setup.

I like to think my tank is in the ICU unit lol
These will let you know when there is any kind of failure of any sort with your dosing system.
it's simple, accurate and the most reliable from what I have learned.

It comes as one unit. It is much smaller than buying 3 separate pumps. J paid under 60$ for the unit minus the cost of the cassettes.

The A+ pumps are quite spendy for the purpose we use them for.

Where did you find that pump? I can only find hospital supply wholesalers that carry stuff like that.

For the price I would just go with a used litermeter setup for dosing.

They may be, but they are too large, only two heads, and two expensive so they aren't too practical.

I agree, the DOS is way over priced and the size of the unit is much too large. I had one and got rid of it. Did I mention how noisy it is?
