best surface for acans

hello every one i just got a new acan and chalice frag and im wondering what a good surface for them to grow on would be. i was thinking tile possibly, or also maby some thin shelf. thy like flatter surfaces correct? thx

Anything with a calcium carbonate base would work well, like travertine or marble, even ceramic frag plugs work well.
On a flat surface it will grow faster, but that might not be the look you're going for. You could just put them on rocks and let them form too :)

I always think its best to just place the coral once and leave it alone to grow. good luck buddy
