That's the plan, to set up the QT station to be permanent, in the basement that is, LOL!!!Sorry Bill, what a bummer, and a lot to go through.

I will use copper in both, so no, they will not be 5' apart. Using copper, I can't use them for anything else other than fish. I may actually set up another tank down the road on the other side of my basement to QT frags. It is rare that the Ick parasite is transferred from a frag, BUT, it is possible. The Ick parasite did not lay dormant for 9+ months in my tank with 6 tangs stressing each other out.Plan for QT's to be at least 5' apart, color code your tools/ food.
as so no transfer.
and then once "this" is over ,
can use one or both as coral QT...
I always use CP, but, I am always concerned with the wrasses jumping into the eggcrate top.Qt your drags and inverts! Your fish are clean you have a high chance of ich from frags depending where you by them. That sad I don’t qt coral or inverts but picky where I buy from and plan to start qting for the new 220.
I recommend copper power for the wrasse.
And very sorry. I can’t imagine going through this. Keeps me awake some nights
I am going with a EVGA 3080ti. Running 3 monitors at 2k concerns me when FPS comes into play. I also went with a Gen 12k intel processor. My last build had 2 GTX 670's in sli. So many things have changed, LOL!!!@Billldg I built my previous gaming rig in 2012 and finished my newer one last year. Spent 4 months in the EVGA queue to get a 3070. I run triple monitors as well
Yea, I am going with windows 11. I am not a fan of 10 personally. I really like 7, then Microsoft gave me the option to upgrade to 10, and I took it. 10 was really meant for laptops and touch screen. You going with windows 11 then with the Gen 12?
Thankfully with the Asus MB I have, I will not have a issue with space. I think I have the possibility to add 5 M.2 2280 ssd's, and, any other Sata ssd, LOL!!!I have 17 TB of space in my pc because I never delete anything..... I think I have a problem
I previously ran triple 24" monitors at 1080p 75hz, now I want to run triple 27" 2k monitors at 170 hz. At that rate, you are running well over 4k specs.I have 17 TB of space in my pc because I never delete anything..... I think I have a problem
I use surround, so I game on all 3. I went with the EVGA 3080ti as it is pretty much a 3090 without the extra 12G Vram. I can also OC it if needed and EVGA will warranty a OC card. Plus, EVGA allows you to upgrade as long as you sign up for it.I am running 1-32" FHD 60hz, 1-32" QHD165hz and 1-27" FHD 60hz. I only game on the QHD but have other things open on the others and never have any issues. I think you'll be fine unless you game on all 3
I have not gamed in several years, so, we will see how it works out. Either way, I like having having 3 monitors running.I played a little with surround a while ago but most games didn't scale correctly and I found it a little nauseating at times with racing games. But this was also with old monitors that were probably not the best for it.
