The blue is mainly seen when in display, are you sure yours is a blue flasher? I want to say yours is more likely a filamentosus which can be slightly blue but not overly blue when in display.

“In display” is when a flasher wrasse flashes. Usually done for territorial reasons or courting. you’ll see your wrasse gain new colours you’ve never seen on them before displaying.And what do u mean by, “in display”
Bought him last September. Almost always red except when he flashes other fish
Yeah mine is a blue flasher, it took awhile for him to go on display but he finally did
This is actually a Paracheilinus lineopunctatus and not a cyaneus. They’re IDed from the tail, Lineopunctatus has a completed curved tail whilst Cyaneus has a crescent tail
