Agreed! Doesn't happen often enough in this hobby. It’s nice when something turns out better then u paid for or expected
Took out my reactor so I could clean it. Will do that after lunch. I have a new one on order so I can separate my GFO from my GAC. I wasn't getting enough flow with both media together imo.
With the effluent near zero it means I need to get more water circulating through it to lower my system phosphates more.
Speaking of Northern here are a few pictures of my sons first Northern of the trip. He got a new rod and couldn’t wait to try it out. His Grandpa happened to be with us fishing when he caught it and as you can tell from the pictures he was pretty proud of him.The bass were biting the first few days but I couldn't get a northern for the life of me. The last 3 days that was all that was biting. It was fantastic!
Now that is a nice fish!Speaking of Northern here are a few pictures of my sons first Northern of the trip. He got a new rod and couldn’t wait to try it out. His Grandpa happened to be with us fishing when he caught it and as you can tell from the pictures he was pretty proud of him.
35” and just shy of 12 lbsNow that is a nice fish!
Thanks, but I may have a problem.Trachy is looking spectacular ! ! !
Well, I can't do much until the weekend. I did move the Trachy to the side of the tank the Angel normally doesn't go but I'm doubting that will help much.
Just kinda shocked by this. He has left all the other LPS in my tank alone. Not sure why this one triggered him.
Can you throw it in your sump for the time being? That is such a nice trachy to be foodI'm not sure what I will be coming home to, but last night I never saw the angel move to where the Trachy is. I watched for a few hours as my lights ramped down. This morning the Trachy was fully open again but I suspect that the longer daylight period will bring the angel out further from his favorite rock pile.
I doubt the Trachy would survive down there. I suspect the hermits and peppermint shrimp, combined with bad lighting, would do it in.Can you throw it in your sump for the time being? That is such a nice trachy to be food
You wanna try catching that lil sucker? He and the 6-line I want removed are the hardest fish in the tank to catch!I think he's taking about the flame...
Nope, I know how much that would suck tooYou wanna try catching that lil sucker? He and the 6-line I want removed are the hardest fish in the tank to catch!
