Its doing well but mostly encrusting. It must have a potent sting as I placed it to close to a PC rainbow and a BC secale and it's killing both of those back. I think it's a really nice looking coral but wish it would do more than encrust. I'll share a pic tomorrow.

That’s the issue with efflorescence (my phone insists on that being typed out despite my constant abbreviations lol) although they are beautiful they need .. want... more space! I’m still debating whether or not I should use the center of my tank which is open just for a efflorescence.

Do it! My purple efflo is one of my favorite corals and its growth pattern is awesome!

Give me your photo skills and your free time please. Lol.
Ha, I just get lucky with a decent photo every now and then. For every decent pic, I have to delete 20 bad ones.

I think once most people use something other than a phone, pics will become much improved. My camera you can buy for $150 and start taking better pics. Once you start taking pics, it becomes just as fun as reefing. That’s why I post so many pics, lol

I wish I did that with the Greg C or FarmerTy’s efflo. I have the BC efflo 2.0 that I don’t enjoy that much taking up prime real estate. The BC efflo is starting to get to a decent size so I don’t want to start all over with a frag or I would knock it off.

I have a good Nikon but never pull it out. This winter when I close the shops I’ll put my comp out and pm you about your skills lol.

Bubba loves green! [emoji12]

A nice standout tabling green is always a nice addition to a reef tank.
Lol

I decided today to removed the BC efflo and put yours in its place, Ty. I ordered some putty to cover the encrusting base.

Pics of Ty’s ?
Its probably a brown turd right now in his frag tank. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] It always goes brown when I switch lighting or frag it.

Here is the colony and some DSLR pics of it in my system.

When I go to it from you it was nicely colored. The dipping mishap didn't treat it well. It's almost back to normal.

I don't think I can cut my old one off. I went and looked at the base and it is probability 1 1/2" thick and I don't think my cutters will cut it.

Oh good... I always feel bad passing along brown corals. Pearlberry, BC pearly cadaver, and my purple efflo are the worst offenders at going brown when I frag them.

Hammer and flathead Bubba! [emoji12]
